I remember watching a documentary about a woman who was 103 years of age, and one of the questions that she was asked was related to the 'secret behind your longevity of years'. The reply was ' I used to be a ballet dancer, and I've been stretching my myself, and keeping supple since then until now. I even stretch and make my moves each day. That is the secret to why I have lived so long'. The power of yoga, and stretching to keep healthy, fit and strong is so undermined or ignored.
