Nationwide VF Panty Shortage

Some of you fellow CD's that I'm friends with may or may not be aware, but there is a significant shortage of VF panties. It appears as though sizes 5-9 are in decent shape, but those of us who are larger (10, 11 and 12) are having a hard time finding the nylon brief panties in sizes above size 10 and when I do find a VF panty in the correct size, it's in a color that I would never wear (like candle-glow for example which is almost yellow, but not quite and I've always hated white panties - they are just so vanilla and unless they have special lace adornment, they're boring). Has anyone else noticed this shortage? I went to Macy's this past weekend with the intention of buying 4-5 pairs of nylon panties but they were picked over. I went on Amazon and they want $7 per panty more than Macy's was selling them for (with rewards card at Macy's they were selling them for $4.75 a pair). I then went to VF's website and sure, they had panties, but all of the larger sizes and either functional (blue, black) or sexy (blue, hot pink, deep red, etc.) were sold out. It was however a happy accident as I discovered some of the sexier Bali brand panties when I was at Macy's and I very much enjoy these panties and will be using them for athletic activities. Please trust me when I say this, if it is above 80 degrees outside and you're going to be in the heat, ditch the nylon panties for the microfiber - it wicks the sweat away and is an amazing material. I just like nylon even more and I wear it when it's feasible.

We have a wedding to go to next month and dropped a lot of $$ at Men's Warehouse, so I can look as good as the 'upper crust' our daughter is marrying into [but everything will fit me, just wondering if I can get away with wearing my new addition, an All-in-One lingerie piece from a friend in England?] It would make the close dancing very sexy!

to -Snap-Crotch-Beaver- : Well, not really squabbling over a couple of bucks. When you factor in my Macy's savings that I had earned, plus the fact that the panties were already on sale at the time and when I go to buy them next week they'll be $10 more than they were this week. I'm willing to pay good money for good panties, but I'll be honest, I'd prefer to save a couple of bucks while still getting those nice panties.

why squabble over a couple of bucks? world-wide shortfalls on many many items and we all gained weight in 2020 and need to buy a larger size now

I'm also on the big side (I wear size 10) and it's been hard for me to find panties in my size as well. I experience this difficulty in most brands of lingerie I wear. Regarding VF specifically, I love the Body Caress briefs, but unfortunately haven't been able to get them in sizes larger than 9.
