How will this work in practice?
Because naturally some have gifted more or more often than others I am going to assign a number for each £10. So, if someone has gifted me, say, £30 they will have three numbers in the draw and if someone gave £40, they will have four chances of being selected (I will round up, so for example £35 will also result in four numbers).
Then when every individual has been assigned their number(s), I will use a random number generator to select one.
I will then contact that person on or about 1st September and confirm if they want to meet and are available to do so at a hotel in London within the following four weeks (I will pay for the hotel, so there is zero cost here other than any travel costs). If they say they are not available – and I understand supporters in Australia or the USA or even Glasgow might not be able to accept - I will repeat the draw, until we have a winner. I will then let everyone know the result and subsequently there will be a blog post from the lucky winner sharing his experience.
