A universe
A universe waits, lurking
beating secretly
in the air you breathe
behind a veil of mystery,
disguising impatience
with one smile too many
and one word too few,
whispering fire
when the light goes out
and the night becomes a secret,
flooding us in a reflection
proud and foreign,
boiling in memory
like a first kiss.
And nothing can stop the downpour
that rests on the leaves
dripping tears
that crash on the ground.
No one can avoid the storm
that approaches by the moment,
dismantling hell
as a last will,
throwing into the black void
the wailing wall
and every vestige of cruelty,
ennobling the head
that once thought
that sadness would be abolished
the day you come to love.
I surprise thought
in the very thought of speaking
and expressing the feeling
that I never intended to abandon
I endorse the avalanche
of words without end
that rise like thunder
in an immortal storm.
And each memory becomes thick
poisoning the freedom
that only wanted to witness
the death of silence.
It's dawning,
it's dawning.
And time looks back at us
knowing that it will never return.
