to 666Rhino : It's a piece of data such as a shit picture made with AI with a digital signature on it. The signatures are stored in a ledger like a bit coin. Who ever owns that owns the NFT as you would bit coin. The owner then sells ownership of the data to anyone they can convince to buy it. Skilled con artists have managed to sell them to people by convincing them that NFTs will go up in value.
