This isn't really a TRUE story..but a tongue in cheek version of a 'what if' could have been..maybe!?? of my recent trip to Glasgow.
A ONCE UPON A TIME TALE!
What I can honestly say though is being half Scottish (half English too..!) in my posh'ish elocution trained accent;
"Why the hell isn't Glasgow the CAPITAL rather than Edinburgh"?? It is SO MUCH BETTER! ooops that's alienated half the population now??.
Reason being of course is because everything is within walking distance..if of course you turn up at Queens St Station or Central Station.. I of course drove...it was an absolute nightmare parking.. Once there though..imagine from Queens St Station..dragging your suitcase up Buchanan Street..WTF couldn't I live like Jack Reacher..fold up toothbrush nothing else? Bus everywhere?? no job .. live off the state..pension obviously!.. Anyway DON'T forget to LOOK UP while you're walking around..there are all sorts of things to see.
