CREATING A QUALITY GALLERY
1. Too often the gallery becomes a scrap heap of odds and ends. If you want to highlight some of your favorite pictures, call it "My Personal Favorites" or some such title.
2. You are saying something about yourself when you post a gallery. People will judge you by your work.
3. The title of the gallery should identify the theme. Be creative.
4. A gallery is only as good as the quality of the pictures. Grainy or low res pictures lower the "eye appeal" of the gallery.
5. If you have the skills you can enhance the appeal of a pictures with some basic tools. It is quite all right to crop out parts that distract. A lovely girl on the beach can be lost in the midst of blue sky and water can become beautiful picture by cropping out the excess sky, water and other people.
6. The modern attention span is remarkably short. I find 2 - 3 dozen are my limit before I move on.
7. I actually go through a slide show multiple times to gauge the overall impact of a gallery. Any picture I don't feel adds to the gallery gets replaced. This stand back and look at the whole is the final step I use before uploading.

I doubt we will ever see galleries again. Your pointers were spot on except, all my galleries were 2 pages or 120 pictures. I took time to make them, did some basic enhancements and cropping. Each gallery had a theme. I had collected many pictures to make more galleries until they shut it down.

All recommendations should be observed. All of my postings are at least 1500 pixels wide and colors are modified for eye appeal. Thanks for your work.

It would be difficult to argue with anything you say here, but I will point out that your suggestions, if taken seriously, presuppose spending A LOT of time in constructing a gallery of pictures. It is quite obvious that YOU do invest a lot of time in constructing your galleries, and the proof is simply there for anyone who is interested in viewing your beautiful finished products. But the AVERAGE porn fanatic is not about to make that investment of time and effort. Don't forget that for the average person pornography is all about "immediate gratification". That YOU do seem to be SO dedicated in producing such beautiful work really makes me wonder why you waste your huge investment in time, and your considerable talent as a mere contributor on a porn website, a porn website that, as a whole, does not reach the quality of your own work. You really need to start your own website, in my opinion. This is so not only because your considerable time, effort, and talent far exceeds the aspirations of a "typical porn website" like XHamster. but also because I feel that you owe it to the world, to porn fans everywhere, to have an opportunity to see your amazing galleries. And that won't ever happen as long as you stay stuck in the corner of a porn website whose aspirations of quality, and beauty fall so short of your own.
