The Who's Quadrophenia album is probably one of the most under-rated records around. Not a bad song in the bunch, and Can You See the Real Me is one of the best. And I can never get enough of wearing out sides 1 and 2 of Taj Mahal's Giant Step. As for a personal favorite, I swear by X. LA punk at its best, and Billy Zoom is an under-appreciated guitar player. Can't say I agree with nymph-calypso though. A lot of really good music out there. Meaningful. Wise. Rockin'. You just won't hear it on any commercial station.

Saw Talking Heads at Hammersmith Odeon during their Stop Making Sense tour. Still probably my favourite gig ever and i've been to quite a few!
