Should I start my photography business again?
Hey guys! :)
As you may (or probably not actually) know, I used to run a professional photography business called Lauren Aston Photography. That company, was actually the whole reason I made an xHamster account, to find models and promote my business. (I know it wasn't the best way to do it and now I just upload for fun :))
It didn't make very good income and I had to eventually close it down. It kind of sucked since I wasted 3,000 dollars starting it up (for the camera, external hard drives, memory cards etc.) and it didn't really succeed. But now I want to change that.
I want to ask you guys. Since I still have the camera, the hard drives, memory cards, etc, should I try and start it up again? My friend Taylor is actually trying to encourage me to start it up again (since she is a photographer herself), but I'm really not sure if I should do it. It would take a lot of money and advertising but if I do it right I can make a lot of money. And stuff like that.
I'm curious because I kind of need money since I may want to have a k** in the future (not now of course), but I'm pretty much struggling here to keep a good income with babysitting. I've also applied to be a waitress at some diner here but obviously that isn't going to make much, so I need something else since I obviously will be working at daytime and therefor can't babysit without taking up all of my free time.
What do you guys think? Should I start this photography business again or do you guys think I'll fail again? And please, don't be afraid to be honest because this is the time where I really need it.
