First Swingers party
Friday after noon, my wife is resting in the bedroom, then she calls me over.

but no. although the sign up process was a bit long, with a bunch of questions (what is the most remarkable thing about you?), it didn't have "ok, now give us your credit card" at the end.
looked around the site, had a lot of active members you could talk to directly, but in the events calendar, seemed there was nothing for that day (there was an event last week, and another one next week).
Notice one couple looking at our profile, so I sent them a msg'. they were living near by, so figured they might have a little more intel' about where we could find an interesting place.
they were nice, but said they don't know of any place for tonight. My wife didn't want to meet anyone directly, but seeing as there probably isn't a party place, she suggested the 4 of us meet at a near by pub. After we exchanged pictures, they said that the wife, doesn't like how I look, so that was the end of that.
well, back to google (third time's the charm?)
and I did find another site with an event calender, and this one seemed rather full (almost 3 events each week).
no sign up, no nothing. called the guy listed there, and he gave us the address (about 15 min' drive) to the party (starting at 11:30 pm).
well, time to get ready for the family dinner, and cross my fingers and hope my wife doesn't change her mind in the last sec').
at about 7pm, my wife called me over (she was smoking by the window in the kitchen). at first I was worried she was going to say she changed her mind, but no, seemed kinda the opposite. she was talking to her gf on the phone, and told her where we were going later tonight, and while the friend said that it sounds strange, it didn't deter her from the plan.
I made sure not to eat as much, as I normally do at my parents dinner; wasn't easy, but for a good cause, I was able to hold me back.
when we got back home to get ready to go out, I checked out profile, and some of the msg's that we got.
there was another nice couple from not too far from us, that welcomed us to the site. I talked to them (him) a little, trying to see if he knows about the place we were going to, and what to expect there. He said there is a good sized dance area, and a little next to it, a few rooms where the "action" takes place (and that it normally starts about 2 hours after the party begin).
I gave him my wife's cellphone number so that they could talk a little, and he would help calm her nerves a bit. they texted a bit before we finished getting ready, and we later called him while we were on the way to that place.
She asked if there is no jealously between him and his wife, after they do something like this, and how long they have been at it. He said that for over a year now, and that actually, when you are NOT jealous about your partner, that's when you need to worry.
We reached the place. and went up to the second floor. we were asked if we'd like a tour of the place before we pay the admission (that was nice). and we agreed. it was a little before midnight, and the place was mostly empty. there was a drinks bar in the corner, a dance floor, and they should us the "action" rooms. 3 small (well, normal sized) room, with a pretty large bed (I would guess 4 couples could be on it, without really touching each other), and a larger room with a BIG hot tub (or a small pool, depending on how you want to look at it).
next to them was a lockers room (you get a key from the bar, to a locker, when you want to go to the "action" part of the party).
we paid the admission, and went in; personally, I hate it when the music is so loud, you can't hear ANYTHING else, but I've learned to live with it. My wife was even less pleased (she is used to loud DJ's, she goes a pub or a party with her gf, almost every week), but the people around didn't seem to her liking.
sure, it was not a super top model convention, but they all seemed more or less ok. normal, and I would guess, fun loving.
