i'm jizzelle. You commented on one of my fotos, so i looked you up.
You have a nice profile and are beautiful. i commend You. i would say You would be an inspiration for me as i endeavor to transition and become the woman i am inside.
i'm curious about your pronouncement "CD's are not trans."
i am a cd who is desiring and working towards transitioning. At what point do i become trans? i want to be recognized and treated as a woman and keep working for a more feminine look. i'd like to have had hormone therapy already,but such is life. i'm not dressing as a fetish. This isn't a game!
Away from work i'm all gurl all the time. i'm stuck though. At work i have to put on an act. My economic empowerment disappears if i dress for work (i will lose my job). With my age, skill set, education that leaves what to maintain my lifestyle? i know of far to many cd's/"tgurls" who end up as sex workers of
some sort. Money and opportunity affect my transition, like most gurls.
You didn't start out the way you are now. i'm sure someone once thought of you as a cd. Obviously you enjoy your changes. So do others.
Of course, some cd's are part time because they CHOOSE. Some don't care about their looks (a minority i hope!). But almost all the gurls i know started just like me. Where did You start? What about the gurls who never get to make the physical changes that would make them more passable.
Your statement further stigmatizes our community. Not all gurls can have a smooth "clean" transition. If you did you're lucky. The future generation of gurls maybe so blessed!
My local lgbtq groups think differently as well. Inclusive is the word.

i think we gurls need to show solidarity for each other.

Cross dressing men are not trans anything ..they simply dress as a female. If a person is transgendered they have no choice but to transition or literally die from a nervous breakdown. Being born transgendered is as cruel a birth defect as there can be as you look like a totally normal person on the outside but have the gender issue on the inside.
Saying you can not afford to transition to a person like me seems silly and really shows a lack of understanding of what it means to even be trans. You don't transition because you can afford it, think it would be really cool, or even have a choice, it's do it of die.
I tell everyone the odds are you will loose your family, your job, and whatever future life you thought you were going to have when you transition and if you can 'choose' to stay a Cd and be happy then by all means do it and be happy, but don't bother trying to convince me you are transgendered. There are far more cross dressing men in this world that actual trans women so keep dressing and be happy.
I have many friends that cross dress and they are my friends, they and you are not transitioning to be anything else nor are they or you....get over it.

Most of my interactions here have been quite positive. Unfortunately a few haven't been. What do You think - when a polite thoughtful discussion is attempted and one party, without knowing the others' life at all, in response slams yours, and then blocks you so you can't respond? Really! The c***dishness!

Here is my response. i chose to continue respectfully (while screaming on the inside!).
Lustyredhead, i hope someday the ignorance, narrow mindedness, and foolishness of your beliefs is revealed to you. Get over yourself! There are many tgurls that haven't the good fortune to be able to make physical changes to themselves as you have. They suffer in the "wrong" bodies. They want to change, but lack education and resources. And some find a way. And others don't. And YES, it eats them up inside too!
My gurl friend was born poor and has lived on the streets since 13. She had few options. She ended up being a sex worker. Same with her friends. Otherwise their resources are limited. Maybe 10% have transitioned to some extent. Do they have to reach some level of transition according to your beliefs? It seems offensive for you to use the argument that if you're really transgendered you will find a way to transition or "suffer from a nervous breakdown." Certainly some gurls have. As you noted, being transgendered is in your being. Transitioning has only been available as an option since the 20th century in some parts of the world. Your conclusion is a disservice to the gurls who've come before and gurls struggling now enduring so much without that option.
There are few tg community groups in my area. Funding is low. They try to help gurls deal emotionally with their experience by supplying information, health care, other resources, and giving them a supporting network of people who care. Most these gurls won't ever have the money to transition.
It's a fact: Not all gurls who identify as transgendered get to transition. That doesn't make them "just" cds.
It's a fact: Most cds aren't interested in transitioning.
You had to start somewhere. We ALL do.
