Was just about to upload today when i saw this warning in the upload window.

My upload was closed today because of this shit. Why? I´m on XHamster for almost 5 years now & suddenly you get strikes for copyrighted vids? Like YouTube? What the hell? This makes no sense. How long will my upload be closed. Does anyone know? If forever, then I´m done with this site. Since march 2015 XHamster pisses me off more & more. First with technical difficulties & now this crap. What ist going on with this site? What happened? Xhamster you were great in the past but now you just SUCK ( in a bad way )!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

well man, I can tell you that they are chopping heads over here this week they have banned 3 friends, important ones, from uploading but the point has more to do with popularity, when you hit a high mark, say several million channel views they start to send "DMCA" and you get banned according to what potentially popular you are a shit inspired in youtube popularity control they should be petrified

to mcloven169 : Yes it's really discouraging uploaders to post stuffs. 1. Edit, crop watermarks / post amateur clips..still can get block - xHamster 2. Just post no need to crop..at most video gets deleted or / can get block / kick out - other sites of course option #2 is better, saves time cropping & encoding.

to vance1 : Yes like i've said in my earlier comment that almost all of the vidz here are copyrighted..except for the amateur / homemade. Uploaders cropped, renamed their vidz, split & upload as individual scenes but if found out that it infringes any copyrights, xHamster's previous stance was to remove the vidz that infringes that. I do not know what DCMA is, but I have been kicked off of xvideos.com and motherless. com with no warning or explanation except DCMA. I had not even uploaded anything on xvideos for months. All of these videos are copyrighted, so I do not understand why there is a problem.

Basically, DMCA is a bill that protects content creators from piracy and unauthorised distribution and Xhamster cannot do much to prevent them from taking action other than giving you a warning. As much as it pains me, you have to delete your videos, before you get your account blocked. Maybe try contacting Xhamster to see which video is targeted.

in the past when i was uploading i didnt get copyright but the videos where taken down. I started to lose my mind and deleted some of my vids. @.@
