Too busy to... (IMHO)

I don't want here to blame all the XH team for doing a wrong thing, because they did fix some bugs, but seems like they are more into making their front page more attractive then upgrading the whole site in general. It is a good thing to add a funny note or show some concern for people who were fired for watching porn, but a lot of absolutely legal content keeps being removed for nothing and lots of forbidden content keeps being successfully uploaded, the process of uploading pictures is still ridiculously slow and inconvenient, messages still have no alarm signal and sometimes it takes ages for people to reply, because "the page didn't refresh" and I ask myself: "Why can't chat here in PM be the same convenient as elsewhere?", a couple of possible cam improvements were never considered and never taken seriously, although they are simple: to return an option to not allow anonymous guests to watch cam rooms, to make some sort of a group private for those who tipped (a certain minimum), to fix the sound quality and switch to HTML instead of flash. But hey, it is less fun than a room for wanking or letters to Xhamsta. I don't say that the site doesn't have to be entertaining, but I thought that XH team is a bit more than a couple of people who works on a front page only. Actually, many people have voted for different things which still under review, I don't even know what will be approved and what will be good for users, but I can see that the site tries to be interactive, but in a distracting manner. How is that? They do the same thing as politicians: doing something minor to draw attention away from some major problems.
In the end I wanna say that I really like XH and I don't want to leave it and don't want to be banned from the site or as a cam model, but I do believe that the site can change to the better, I am sure it is possible and I want it to happen. Why waiting for a new site to appear, why not making XH better? I can see something has been done and I hope that some really useful things will become a nice addition to fun stuff.

to bcifu : Recently they offered a new design of XH and it looks like they added some useful things, though I use an old version, since I'm allowed. Probably a new version will be less bugged and better to use. I think I wrote this post where there was no SC, BTW. Now when we need to separate these two sites, it would be an absolutely different blog, but still when I see they change something to the better, it deserves some praise, yet so far not much good has been done, alas.

Most Models don't care, Most Members don't care, And Admin from Stripchat, who totally is running your end of things, is inexperienced and biting off way more than they are able to handle. XH Admin just wants to be done with Cam Room Probs and profit for a change, but they are not gonna deal with SC's problems! That's what it's come to around here!!

I agree with much of the above and I completely echo the comment made below that the site should be a more comfortable place for models. The tech problems of the past few weeks have been an inconvenience for users, but to models whose livelihood depends on sites like this, it can be a real problem. When screens don't work, all but the most loyal of admirers probably drift to other rooms and that is lost revenue. One issue on the other side I see is that many models have 8, 9, 10 different websites running on multiple screens and I understand the desire to maximise income. If they can multi-task that's great, but increasingly it seems gold members and tippers seem to be ignored on XH while the model keeps up with all the other sites she's running. After a while the lack of real-time interactivity spoils the experience somewhat. Add to this the tech problems on XH and it could discourage building up a 'fanbase'. If the XH experience was better for models and viewers alike, then there wouldn't perhaps be a need for so many other sites to run simultaneously. I must say I've never had this issue with the lovely vaders_daughter so if she is doing it then it's an example of someone who is well able to keep many balls in the air successfully (pardon the pun). All that AND reading and responding to pms sent no doubt by dozens of guys, whilst smiling and 'performing' and being engaging and fun - it's no mean feat and shows that done well, this is a damn difficult job and the experts really deserve the praise and fans they have. Last comment: profiles like this one are all too rare, but this shows how it should be done. This lady has put a helluva lot of effort into this profile and professionalism shines through. So I read it and automatically respect the model all the more for the effort she's put in. They all deserve respect, but this level of attention shines through and subconsciously it makes the guy think 'well, she's made an effort, I damn well should too' - no bad thing. Apologies for boring post on my part here though...

Nice post, i'm so much agree with you. As an user i like this site and i don't think about other place to watch porn or having fun with models. The group private is an awesome idea, the model can perform while ALL the users spend tokens per minutes. This site need to be a more confortable place for models
