Those readers on Xhamster that have, for the past few years, been following the misadventures of my eponymous heroine, Michaela Francis, in her disreputable career as a sixth form school girl at St Margaret Clitheroe's Catholic Boarding School for Young Ladies might now be pleased to hear that the whole series so far is now available as on an Ebook and, hopefully, also in paperback.
After a long wait I have finally published this set of popular stories under the above title although this might change. In fact I agonised a long time with my editor over the title for the book and the head editor is still unhappy with it and might yet decide to change it. The title actually arose from the editor's opinion that the stories had a very St Trinian's feel to them and perhaps it would be an idea to allude to the vintage, comic St Trinian's movies in the title. His first suggestion was to call it “The Pure Hell of St Margaret's” in reference to the 1960 movie “The Pure Hell of St Trinian's”. I vetoed that on the grounds that, should you miss the allusion to the movie, it made the thing sound a horror story rather than an erotic comedy. I proposed therefore to name it in honour of the first St Trinian's movie “The Belle's of St Trinian's”.
To those readers not familiar with the series I wrote the following blurb to accompany the cover on the website;
“Whether being spanked more in sorrow than in anger by the saintly but air-headed sister Juliana, bending over for the cane in in the grim sister Claire's study or being publicly thrashed over the vaulting horse in the gymnasium by the formidable Miss Pearson, Michaela Francis of the sixth form is in big trouble again.... and again....and again!
Welcome to the dour edifice of St Margaret Clitheroe's educational boarding institution for young Catholic ladies; all hockey sticks, boiled fish, gym knickers and rattan canes, where there is shameful hanky panky between the girls in the dormitories and Draconian discipline meted out by the nuns.
The author's eponymous and incorrigible heroine, together with her beautiful but not overly bright girlfriend, her co-conspirators in the Dead Fish Liberation Front and her arch nemesis Stephanie “Slippery” Stockworth-Smyth, takes you on a humorous frolic through her youthful days at St Margarets's to be entertained by her disgraceful misconduct, to laugh at her hilarious misadventures and enjoy the inevitable painful consequences of them.
Once you've joined Michaela on punishment roster outside the headmistress's office at St Margaret's, you'll never want to leave!”
To the readers who have read and loved the stories, all the old favourites are there as Michaela wends her way from one youthful indiscretion to another. I do hope that you'll pick up a copy. To be honest, the publisher is very pessimistic about the chances of the book doing well. Its combination of humour and eroticism is something a little outside his experience and he's not at all certain that anybody will actually buy it. Well he's probably right but I think that the stories are funny entertaining, sexy and well deserving of being published. It's not as if my books exactly fly off the shelves anyway so it was worth taking a chance.
In any case I hope you'll buy my new book and I thank you once again for all the support you have all afforded me over the years.
