It's a Strange, Strange World We Live In
You encounter the most fascinating people on this website! I know it takes all kinds to make the world go 'round, but it seems like you get the cream of the crop here.
First of all you get the ever popular pop-up friend requester. Out of the clear blue you get a friend request. No advance notice. No introduction. No nothing. Just a friend request. Usually it's somebody new, and more often than not he or she (usually he, but even if it is a “she” it's still as often as not a he) has absolutely nada in their profile. Not a blessed thing! If you're lucky, they've put up a real avatar instead of that grey, generic hamster. --But dollars to donuts it's a tell-you-nothing still pic of something very innocuous. MYSTERY PERSON! Or maybe they have a respectable amount of content, but it's all under lock and key.
I sometimes PM my prospective friend and ask why they chose me. Very seldom do I get a response, and still more seldom I get a one or two word grudgingly grunted response. Now, I'm a wordy sort. I have no inhibition to running my mouth –I mean running my keyboard. I'm not this verbose in real life; really I'm not. In college one of my instructors warned us against “verbal masturbation” when we wrote our papers. Today I'm a frustrated writer --and this IS a porn site after all. Other members actually choke their chickens literally --as opposed to literarily-- and some actually invite one and all to choke their prospective chickens along with them. Personally, I can't see the logic in a digital circle jerk, but to each his own. In any case, I'll masturbate verbally if I want to! I'm not hurting anyone, and some actually get a kick out of my ramblings. Anyway, I don't expect everybody else to run on and on like I do. A nice three plus word sentence is extraordinary and is gratefully received. When I come across someone who verbally slays his or her dragon (verbage-wise) as shamelessly as I do it gives me pause. I take a second look. Proficiency in the Queen's English is getting rarer and rarer by the day, and I truly enjoy a digital mutual masturbation session of the textual kind.
But I digress. I'm talking about the kinds of people you come across on xHamster. There are some truly wonderful people on here; people you'd love to count as good friends even in real life. And then there are some of the most vicious low-life dregs of humanity who wouldn't even be worth the lead and powder to rid the world of them. And there's everything in between, too. I got one guy one time who insisted that I reblog his wife's pictures and make comment as to how worthless a low-life scum piece of excrement she was. He INSISTED! When I didn't do just what he wanted and as quickly as he said he got verbally abusive with me and blocked me before I could even respond to his derogatory comments. I'm glad he blocked me, although I would have preferred the pleasure of blocking him first! I feel for that man's poor wife –if in fact she really is married to him. I'm not an abusive person, people! I don't have a problem with dom/sub relationships (although I don't understand them). Some people get their jollies in different ways than I do. I wish them well and refrain from disparaging them. Anything that two people do together with full mutual consent is their business. I even have a few lady friends who have r4pe fantasies. I don't get into that, but if the lady wants it she's free to dream that way. It's just that some people take things to such an extreme that one wonders just how sincere they are. --And how genuine they are. You hear all the time of males who pretend to be females, and you hear stories of some of them posting compromising pictures and even videos of their ex-wives or girlfriends because they enjoy belittling and humiliating them. We all have problems. Some of us have SERIOUS problems!
Then there's the occasional female who has had a terribly bad relationship with a male and wants to do as much damage as she can to any and all males because of it. I had one lady who asked me to friend her, and just as soon as I did she unfriended me and blocked me. I hope she finds peace, respect and love somewhere, some way from somebody eventually. I have a number of friends who are bi or lesbian. Some of them are the best and closest friends I have on xHamster. None of them HATE males. I really love the kinds of erotica that lesbians enjoy. Women know how to love another woman, and a guy can learn a lot from ladies who love other ladies. Those other kinds of lesbians don't associate with males, though, and if they do it's only to either put them down or to mess with their heads.
It's a sad fact that some people have agendas. I friended one lady once upon a time who wrote very well. She told me she was a member of Mensa. I suckered in. She critiqued everything I said, and nothing I said was ever right. It just seemed like she was stuck on playing Gotcha with me! After about the 6th PM exchange I wished her well and went on my way. I didn't block her, but I never heard from her again. Hopefully she found whatever she was looking for.
You can pretty well get a feeling for what kind of person you're dealing with after a while. Sometimes sooner than later. Some people are obvious, but some are devious. Didja ever friend somebody who just was living in an alternate universe? Nothing you say registers the way it was meant. I mean you're on a completely different wavelength and every blessed thing you say to that person is misconstrued. You compliment them and they take it as an insult. --EVERYthing! Just for sh*ts and giggles, you actually insult them just to see how they'll react and what do they do? They take it as a compliment! Sometimes I wonder if maybe there really is a Bizarro Universe.
