The new subcollection system, anybody else tried?

In answer to the requests of millions, xHamster set up a subcollection system for favorite videos (but not for favorite photos?).

I started using it, since I had like 10,000+ favorites, and set up sub-collections for creampied wives, creampied asians, creampied sluts, strippers, strip games, and so forth.

I started moving favorite videos into the new folders. It's a laborious project, since you have to go to the video, pull down the favorite menu, delete "default" collection, then pull it down again to the collection you want it to be in. I spent hours moving about 500 movies out of 10,000.

The yesterday I noticed that almost all of the videos I had moved into the sub-collections were BACK in the default collection as well as being double-tagged into the new sub-collections. So I spent an hour moving about 75 of them out of default and confirming they are still in the new sub-collections.

And then today I get here and found that almost all of those 75 were BACK IN DEFAULT AGAIN and two new albums I didn't create (default collection 2 and another of the same name) had been created.

Anybody else having the same thing happen?

Finally finished moving all ten thousand videos to proper subcategories. Added a few non-CP orgies to keep the default file open.

Rapid progress after that last xHamster update. When you review your favorite videos there is a little pencil icon which allows you to change the sub collection assignment very easily pat least if you know or can guess the proper new subcategory.

Travelling left me a lot of time with spotty connections so I moved another almost 1000 movies to proper subcollections.

Weeks later, no more glitches, slow progress moving 5,000 movies with that many more to go.

Monday 9 Oct: Nothing has gone haywire in days, but the process of moving 10,000 favorite videos into sub-collections will take 16 months doing 20 per day. (Some days I do more but no matter how busy I am I try to do at least 20.) I am guessing that you guys cannot see the sub-collections, just the aggregate of all collections, right?

Friday 6 Oct: the two "default 2" albums remain empty. A spot check of sub-collections found none which reverted to "also in default collection". A check of other sub-collections found that previous "reversions to default" are still there and still have to be fixed before I can resume organizing sub-collections.

to jjpp66 : I have done so many times with various results. They seem to be gaining but the issue of movies suddenly reinstalling themselves in collections they were removed from has not produced any reply so far.

It seems "THE POWERS THAT BE" here need to hire a person who can write a software program! All the new upgrades that have been launched recently are full of problems and glitches. Recently I lost over two pages of favorite videos, many favorite photos and photo galleries, friends that I regularly talk to have been unfriended and I have had to ask to be added again, people I did not add have been added as friends, the list goes on. I am about to give up on xhamster and look for another site. Anyway, thank you for listening to me bi##h.

to 1awesome : I hope it's fixed. I just deleted 66 mysterious reappearing default items and 9 of them have re-appeared in the mysterious double default #2 in the 15 minutes since then.

Yes, though it seems to have been corrected. All of my deletes were back in my folders and I wasn't allowed to delete until this afternoon.

Thursday 5 Oct: I had over the last two weeks moved five videos from DEFAULT to NAKED BULL RIDER and today four of them were in both categories. Deleted the four from DEFAULT and left all five in NBR.

Further Thursday 5 Oct note (all previous that date): I had moved 15 movies from DEFAULT to HUNGRY DUCK over the last two weeks. Today they're all in both. So today I deleted the checkmarks for DEFAULT.

Further noting that I moved all of the movies in WIVES HAVE FUN, and TELEVISION, and the 25 in WEST DALLAS NIGHTS and we'll see if they stay there.

Leaving myself notes of what I did: I checked the 12 CFNM movies I had moved to that sub-collection and found 10 of them moved back into default. So I deleted the default checkmark on them and added two new CFNM favorites directly to the sub-collection. We'll check tomorrow to see what happened.
