Lots of good advice but the important bit is definitely, the tighter the fit the more comfortable it is. The ring around the scrotum has to be tight enough so he can't slip out but watch for signs of chafing long term. Supervise his showers so he can give everything a really good clean. Nocturnal pain is common at the beginning so don't worry about that; he'll soon get used to it. I'd also advise to keep everything very trim and check for infected follicles and finally of course, keep us all posted on progress!

As everyone here stated, the cb3000 or 6000 will be an awesome one to start and to figure out what size ring to use. Keep in mind the penis tube does come in a short, standard or long. We also stepped up to a metal cage...not a custom fit one though because we only use it for short term play currently. We use coconut oil to slip everything on rather than lube. Definitely cleaner. We started with a cb600s before getting a custom fit model from mature metal. Smaller snug fit is best. If you are planning on long term use, I suggest a metal cage. He won't need to take it off for cleaning.

I have a CB3000 which is very easy to use. It does take a while to find the right ring size that is tight enough so you cant take out your cock without the key but not to tight it hurt. I had some problems finding the right size that I also could sleep with. I did not find the right size as i couldnt sleep and would wake up in the middel of the night with pain in my penis.

Don't give up if the first cage you try doesn't work out. It may take a few. It would help if you get one where you can mix and match different ring sizes and cage lengths and diameters. (You can always keep a too small one as a punishment cage.)

my suggestion would be, measure his flacid cock. You want a cage that fits his flacid size or just a fraction small... room to grow can actually be very uncomfortable when you go over night. I'd suggest a CB6000 or CB6000s as a first cage, cheap and come with lots of different ring sizes and spacers so you can find the best fit. Don't go silicon unless a cage has bottom and top attachments.. they bend to much. Once you have the cage, start wearing it, slowly lengthening the periods... the first overnight will be a big challenge. It's normal for the body to get 'morning wood'.
