To much to read

Over the last couple of weeks we have noticed that many profile descriptions are really long. A lot of times we do not even read them because they are too long. So question is:

Does long profile descriptions turn you away?

I find that a careful description of the profile is important, avoid many unnecessary questions

to TheFreakyCouplesFun : That is the precise sort text I was speaking to actually. I'm of the mind that setting out rules in such a long winded way, or a biography as some are wont to do, is a mastubatory act. It gives a sense power which feels good. Thats what I was getting at. Also, apologies if came across as a bit of a dick, I forgot the sarcasm font.

to pbibo : I guess I should have made the question a little more descriptive. The long text as not always porn related. Most of them are about their rules and what you can and can not do.

I always take those super long walls of text as just another way to jerk off. Which is fne, we are on a pron ste after all. However, if you have a wall of self important text and scads of password hidden stuff... well then you need to fuck a cactus.

I guess bigger isn't always better! I do usually read them if they aren't boring in the first couple paragraphs.

it depends what are there in long profile.. if just bla bla bla... yeah its boring but some profiles turn me much.

Not really. I like to see what others are into. My only pet peeve are those that have nothing in the bio that describes them, and little or no favorites or uploads.

for me yes, i like for people to keep it short and simple. A paragraph or two is fine but when you start writing an essay then its a bit over kill to me. Some of that can be saved to build convo and a rapport.
