We learned recently that there isn't a March issue of Playboy in the year 1955
Rumors:
-The US government shutdowns Playboy Magazine in February 1955
-There might be an unfinished March issue from 1955 somewhere, deep hidden in the Area 51 or the PlayboyMansion... )

According to certain accounts, the press deadline was missed for March, so there was no March issue for the second calendar year of the magazine's existence. "Simple it is, just missed the deadline"
