Sexuality is a spectrum! A short rant! (Typo fix)
Something I also wrote on my blog. As with all my rants, I don't hold back. People deserve what they need to hear.
As with all my rants, I don't hold back. People deserve what they need to hear.
This is a rant on those who are closed minded and stuck in a dualistic or simplistic mindset when it comes to sexuality. A lot of people, especially men, want to be dunderheads and think that you are either straight or gay with nothing in between yet at the sametime they often give females a pass which exempts them from this for the most part. For example, if you admitted to have a sexual experience with the same sex, or find something attractive about the same sex, you're suddenly labeled gay or your behavior to be gay just like that! It doesn't matter if you are straight any other day of the week or whatever! The crazy thing is that even the thought of bisexuality doesn't even come up often either! There is this unwritten rule that the concept of a bisexual or a male who is sexually curious when it comes to wanting to have experiences with the same sex is an urban legend in the minds of these one-dimensional thinkers because you think that, then it's gay or you're gay in their simple minds!
I just hate it when people want to sit around and argue that if you like Trans, Futa's and Traps, then you are automatically gay or at the very least it is gay without understanding that sexuality is complex and not as simple as primitive minded people want it to be! I mean the idea and concept that people might like those things, but find themselves also to be attracted to something else doesn't compute in their brains! They're robots in flesh which is why!
There is no augment or debate because it is the truth! If you don't get that, then forget it, because that would mean that you're too narrow in your way of thinking to understand it as your mind is trapped in duality when it comes to topics like this, and highly likely with many more things in life which is even worse, but that in itself is another story since I can rant all day about people who think either there are only two choices to everything in life or they always have to pick a side (dialectical thinking of the complex issues that we face) when it comes to an issue or idea since they're incapable of thinking uniquely not understanding that the world is not as simple as they think it is! People's collective failure and willful refusal to understand such complexes is why we live in the kind world we live in now which I also like to add! It is a shame since they're missing out on the vast richness of understanding the complexities that surround us both good and bad.
Looks like I digressed a bit into some philosophical truth here, but it is worth the education for people to think about, if they care enough too even though they should, but whatever.
